Retirement Notice for Sybari Antigen 8.0 (Exchange and SMTP Gateways), Sybari Antigen 7.5 (Exchange, SMTP and SharePoint) and earlier Antigen releases
  • Releases of Sybari Antigen 7.5 and prior are being retired on June 30, 2007. The retirement for Sybari Antigen for Domino 7.5 was previously announced and will only be supported through the end date of current license agreements for existing Antigen for Domino customers.
  • Sybari Antigen for Exchange 8.0 and Sybari Antigen for SMTP Gateways 8.0 are being retired on Dec. 31, 2008. Until that time, Sybari Antigen for Exchange 8.0 SR3(build 1517) will remain a supported platform, however we recommend that customers use Microsoft Antigen 9.0.
Sybari Antigen for Sharepoint 8.0 SR2(build 1535) and Sybari Antigen for Instant Messaging 8.0 remain supported platforms. Retirement plans for these products have not yet been announced.

Upgrade Path:
For Antigen for Exchange and Antigen for SMTP:
There are two suggested paths of migrations:
  1. New install of Microsoft Antigen 9.0 or Forefront Security for Exchange Server (for Exchange 2007)
  2. Upgrade Sybari Antigen 7.5 to Sybari Antigen 8.0 SR3(build 1517) and upgrade to Microsoft Antigen 9.0.
For Antigen for SharePoint Upgrade to Antigen for SharePoint 8.0(build 8.0.1535) or new install of Forefront Security for SharePoint (for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 or Windows SharePoint Services 3.0)
